Save Big and Help A Disney Friend Out

Update: This Deal Has Expired

Instagram user kayla8790 (email: kayla.woosley8790@gmail.com) reached out to us because she has a Disney Vacation Club rental booked that she won’t be able to use. In case you’re unfamiliar, DVC renting allows anyone—even people who aren’t DVC members—to pay to borrow DVC points that are then used to book a DVC stay. The result is a stay booked at rates much lower than the Disney rates for the same rooms.

Unfortunately Kayla is unable to use her reservation (COVID), but is unable to get it refunded. She can, however, transfer it to someone.

The terms of the stay (dates / room type) are not modifiable and are:

  • Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort - 2 Bedroom Villa — Lake View

  • Dates: October 3, 2020 to October 10, 2020 (7 nights)

I priced that stay on the Disney website, and it would cost $12,652.90. Kayla paid $5,985 for the stay, and it’s currently being offered at $4,725 (and open to further negotiation).

The 2-Bedroom Villa sleeps up to nine adults on 1 King Bed and 2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa and 1 Twin-Size Sleeper Chair. You can see more about the room type over on the Disney website.

We don’t usually post these types of offers, but it’s obviously not usual times for planning a Disney vacation. We’re not at all involved in this booking, and we’re not getting a commission for it—we’re just passing on the word from Kayla.

This isn’t a cheap stay, but if you have a large family or have friends who would consider traveling with you, you wind up with an amazing deal. Two families splitting the room would pay under $2400 each, which is a very low price for a 7-night stay at Bay Lake Tower or Contemporary Resort.
