Epcot Flower & Garden Festival 2024 Basics
The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival began on February 28, 2024 and ended May 27, 2024. 2025 dates have not yet been announced. Dates for 2024 were announced on January 16, 2024.
What is the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival?
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is one of Epcot’s oldest and most beautiful festivals. The entire park is transformed with stunning floral displays. Specialty food, beverage, activities, and entertainment are offered throughout the park.
When is the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival?
The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival will be held beginning February 28, 2024. The last day of the festival is May 27, 2024.
How much does the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival Cost?
The festival itself is included in the price of your Epcot admission. This isn’t a special ticketed event. If you want to enjoy the special food, merchandise, demonstrations, etc., those come at an extra cost (some activities are free, though).
What Do I Need To Do Ahead of Time?
If you’re interested in guaranteeing your seat at the Garden Rocks Concert Series, you might want to consider a dining package. The Behind the Seeds tour is held year-round and can be booked in advance.
Where should I stay to visit the Festival?
Any Disney hotel will do a fine job of getting you to and from Epcot. That said, some are better-situated than others if you’re spending a lot of time at the Festival. It’s a short walk to Epcot from Boardwalk Inn, Yacht Club, and Beach Club.
Riviera Resort and Caribbean Beach are just a single, pretty short ride on the Disney Skyliner away from the park. Pop Century and Art of Animation are also on the Skyliner, but you’ll have to transfer at Caribbean Beach.
We cover this topic in more detail in our post on the Best Hotels for Visiting Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Navigating the Flower & Garden Festival
Disney has shifted more information into their app over the years, and you’ll now find a dedicated section of the app available from the home page once the festival begins. You’ll still want to grab the Festival Passport. This small booklet includes checklists for most every item (topiary, food, gardens) at Flower & Garden Festival.
Festival Topiaries, Gardens, Exhibits, and Activities
The highlight of Flower & Garden is the transformation of the park itself, anchored by the addition of beautiful topiaries and gardens throughout the park. This year has over two dozen topiaries themed to Disney Characters and over two dozen gardens!
The festival typically hosts a changing lineup of exhibits. These are tables or small booths offering tips or education on flowers, gardening, and other sustainable topics. Past lineups included the Simple Living Institute, University of Florida Master Gardeners, and Florida Federation Garden Club.
Like every festival, the Flower & Garden Festival has a pay-to-play scavenger hunt. Purchase your map for $9.99+tax to play Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration. Find Spike the bee throughout the park, and return your completed map for a special surprise.
Garden Rocks Concert Series
Every day of the festival features a performance at the America Gardens Theater as part of the “Garden Rocks” Concert series. The 2024 lineup includes stars such as Rick Springfield and Plain White T’s.
You can lineup and wait for these shows, but they’re also available as part of the Garden Rocks Dining Package.
Flower & Garden Festival Food & Beverage Booths
There are about twenty festival booths at Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival. This is significant fewer than the 30+ you’ll find at Food & Wine Festival, but still more than enough to satisfy your festive cravings for an afternoon or two.
These are basically pop up booths (though many of them are permanent now) around the park that offer small portions of food and beverage for around $5-$10 an item.
One notable booth is Pineapple Promenade, which typically carries Dole Whip inspired treats.
For more on the 2024 booths, including individual booth reviews, check out WDW Prep School.
Flower & Garden Festival Merchandise
As with every Epcot festival, there is event-specific merchandise. Here’s a look at some 2023 merchandise:
