Need to grab a bite at Hollywood Studios but don’t know where to go? Here’s your list of the best Hollywood Studios quick service restaurants! We rank all the restaurants Disney qualifies as “quick service” at Hollywood Studios, noting the best options at each!
Quick Service at Walt Disney World
Just in case you’re not familiar with what “quick service” means: quick service meals are those meals where you typically order from a cashier, pick up your food at a counter, and find your own seat. This contrasts with “table service,” where you’re seated and have a waiter.
We have posts discussing the best quick service options at each park:
Best Quick Service Restaurants at Hollywood Studios (you are here)
According to Disney, Hollywood Studios has 11 options for the quick service dining plan. One of those is Trolley Car Cafe, the Hollywood Studios Starbucks, and removing that leaves us ten quick service restaurants. As we’ll note, these still vary in size, but you can at least expect to easily put together a lunch (though maybe not to everyone’s tastes) at each location we cover.
Best Hollywood Studios Quick Service Restaurants
We have to be a bit more generous to the smaller spots in Hollywood Studios than we were ranking the best quick service options at Magic Kingdom. Smaller spots comprise a lot of Hollywood Studios options, including some of the best options.
Nonetheless, we’re going to treat three of them (the three on Sunset Boulevard over by Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror) together because they’re so close in proximity and share a seating area.
All that said, here’s the list:
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Ronto Roasters
Backlot Express
Fairfax Fare (With #5 and #6)
Rosie’s All-American Cafe (With #4 and #6)
Catalina Eddie’s (With #4 and #5)
Woody’s Lunch Box
Dockside Diner
ABC Commissary
PizzeRizzo
2. Ronto Roasters

Menu Highlights: Ronto Wrap, Zucchi Wrap, Triple Suns Breakfast Wrap
How does a small snack stand top our quick service rankings in the whole park? With excellent food and unique atmosphere. Ronto Roaster is located in Galaxy’s Edge, pretty close to Docking Bay 7. In fact, once Ronto Roasters closes for the day you can usually still get Ronto Wraps—but not the plant based alternatives—over at Docking Bay 7.
Ronto Roasters specializes in wraps. They offer four throughout the day: Ronto Wrap (pork), Ronto Morning Wrap (pork and eggs), Triple Suns Breakfast Wrap (plant based egg, chickpea slaw), and the Zucchi wrap (plant based, zucchini).
There isn’t a ton of seating, but overall the restaurant does a good job of offering a bit of Batuu “street food,” and that’s sort of why I give it the edge of Docking Bay 7. Docking Bay 7 has the deeper lineup, so most people will prefer the food there. But there’s just not many opportunities in life to have street food in a space market. Since it’s excellent food, to boot, I’m happy to give it the top spot.
2. Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
Link to the Full Menu at Docking Bay 7
Menu Highlights: Smoked Pork Ribs, Pirjanad Hot Chicken Tip Yip
Docking Bay 7 is the main quick service restaurant in Galaxy’s Edge (aka Star Wars Land). It is the rare spot in the park that will offer more than typical theme park options, with Braised Beef and Smoked Pork Ribs being among the options.
3. Backlot Express
Link to the Full Menu at Backlot Express
Menu Highlights: BBQ Pulled Pork, Burgers
Backlot Express is located next to Star Tours. It offers more theming than the other restaurants on this list, with various studio items scattered about. Most of the seating is indoors. The menu is pretty basic theme park fare.
Backlot is a bit of a surprising pick for the third slot here, but it really just doesn’t do anything wrong—it has fun theming, fine food, and plenty of indoor space.
Reminder: You really should consider the next three restaurants together, as they’re just separate stands around the same area.
4. Fairfax Fare
Link to the Full Menu at Fairfax Fare
Menu Highlights: Barbecue Beef Brisket Bowl, Buffalo Chicken Bowl
Fairfax Fare is the stand on Sunset Boulevard with the most interesting menu. It’s easily identified as the only stand actually on Sunset Boulevard, directly across from the Beauty and the Beast theater.
Fairfax Fare specializes in bowls, offering BBQ Beef Brisket, Buffalo Chicken, and plant based bowls, among others. Seating is outdoors but covered in the seating area it shares with Rosie’s and Catalina Eddie’s.
5. Rosie’s All-American Cafe
Link to the Full Menu at Rosie’s All-American Cafe
Menu Highlights: Burgers
Rosie’s is a stand “hidden” behind the seating area on Sunset Boulevard. Facing the two stands, Rosie’s is on the left, Catalina Eddie’s is on the right. Rosie’s serves burgers, hot dogs, a plant based “lobster” roll, and chicken nuggets.
6. Catalina Eddie’s
Link to the Full Menu at Catalina Eddie’s
Menu Highlights: Pizzas
Catalina Eddie’s is the stand to the right of Rosie’s. It serves Walt Disney World’s classic, widely-despised, personal pizzas. We actually have nothing but fondness for them (photo below beneath PizzeRizzo).
7. Woody’s Lunch Box
Link to the Full Menu at Woody’s Lunch Box
Menu Highlights: BBQ Brisket Melt, “Totchos”
I actually like the food at Woody’s just about as much as anywhere on this list. By food offerings alone I’d probably put it in the second or third slot. By theming, yea it’s probably up there too.
But the restaurant is a logistical nightmare, unable to handle the slightest touch of crowds. You’ll often see mobile order times booked hours in advance. Once you get your food, be prepared to linger around the cramped seating area for a few minutes waiting for a table.
Woody’s Lunch Box is sort of the anti-Backlot Express in this way. I don’t love anything about Backlot Express, but I know if I need a meal I can go there. I love a few things about Woody’s Lunch Box, but I basically always wind up having to go somewhere else because of crowds.
It has good, albeit limited, offerings, including a BBQ Brisket Melt, a Smoked Turkey Sandwich, a Grilled-Three Cheese Sandwich, and loaded tater tots. Seating is outdoors and limited.
With Roundup Rodeo BBQ now open, Woody’s Lunch Box is no longer the only food spot in Toy Story Land. This should help with the crowding somewhat.
8. Dockside Diner
Link to the Full Menu at Dockside Diner
Menu Highlights: Hot Dogs of various styles
Dockside Diner is a hot dog stand on Echo Lake. It’s in the big boat, sort of across from the Frozen Sing-Along. They offer a rotating cast of specialty hot dogs, which at least makes it an interesting option.
9. ABC Commissary
Link to the Full Menu at ABC Commissary
Menu Highlights: Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Pork Carnitas Tacos
Commissary is located on the righthand side when you’re walking from the Chinese Theatre over to Star Tours. The “theme” is actually just “cafeteria,” so don’t expect much. It offers Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Pork Carnitas Tacos, a Chicken Club Sandwich, and more.
If you prefer the food of Commissary to the food of Backlot Express, you could easily switch their spots in this ranking, ignoring the huge gap in theming. While I think every menu should have something other than burgers, I think Commissary could be well served by adding a theme park staple like a burger, hot dog, or pizza to the menu.
10. PizzeRizzo
Link to the Full Menu at PizzeRizzo
Menu Highlights: Meatball Sub, Pizza
PizzeRizzo is a larger, indoor quick service location located across from Muppet Vision 3D. It offers vritually the same menu as Catalina Eddie’s. It also serves a meatball sub, though.
PizzeRizzo is an odd pick for the last spot on our list, as it used to be a staple of our days at Hollywood Studios prior to Galaxy’s Edge opening. This is primarily because (1) we don’t mind mediocre theme park pizza and (2) we like the theming of the event room space inside.
That said, it still sort of defaults into the last spot because of its limited menu (that doesn’t really match the fun of either Dockside Diner or Ronto Roasters).
