In this post, we review the Stone Harbor Club, the Club Level offering at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. If this is the first post of ours you’re reading, there might be two others you’re interested in. First, we have separately reviewed Disney’s Beach Club Resort. If you’re looking for information about the hotel generally, you’ll need to read that post.
Second—and maybe more importantly—we have an entirely separate post covering the ins and outs of Club Level at Walt Disney World. If you’re wondering about the details of whats included, whether it’s worth it, and just how we evaluate it broadly, you’ll want to check out that post. This post focuses specifically on the Stone Harbor Club at Beach Club.
Booking Club Level at Beach Club
Club Level is a special room designation at all the the deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World (and one moderate resort) that includes a variety of perks. If you’re interested in reading about Club Level at the other deluxe resorts, we have reviews here (links open in new tabs):
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kilimanjaro Club Level Review
Disney’s Beach Club Resort - Stone Harbor Club Level Review (you are here)
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort - Royal Palm Club (Main Building) Level Review
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort - King Kamehameha Club Level Review
Disney’s Coronado Springs (Moderate Resort) - Chronos Club Level Review
We booked our Club Level Garden View room through our choice go-to travel agent, Lauren Quirk of Travel With Character LLC. We used a 35% off Annual Passholder offer rate, our most common way of booking Club Level.
For 2025, standard Club Level rooms at Beach Club start at $880 per night. That’s a premium of $267 per night over the lowest prices standard room. The Club Level rooms are all located on the fifth floor, which also houses the club lounge itself.
Beach Club Resort Club Level Check-In
If you check in at the hotel’s front desk you’ll want to make sure they either give you directions to the lounge or have someone from the lounge come get you (this sometimes happens, sometimes doesn’t). If you use Disney World’s online check in, you can just head to the lounge before or after stopping at your room.
In either case, it’s important to pay a visit to “check in” with the lounge staff once you’re at the hotel. This was they know who you are and have an opportunity to show you around the lounge and give you any welcome information/gifts.
We arrived late in the day and already had a room via online check in. Visiting the lounge shortly after arriving, we were given some information about the lounge, but no welcome letter this time.
Beach Club Resort Club Level Perks
Again, our post on Club Level at Walt Disney World more generally is a better place to get a sense of the value of Club Level. Briefly though, by staying Club Level at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, you’ll get:
access to a lounge (The Stone Harbor Club Lounge) with four small food and beverage servings throughout the day
access to a dedicated concierge staff, including by phone and text
The first of these is really the most important, and it’s what we focus most on in this review.
As a guest of a deluxe resort at Disney World, you’ll also get all the perks of a Disney stay, like Early Theme Park Entry and transportation to the parks, plus the deluxe-exclusive Extended Evening Hours.
The Stone Harbor Club Lounge at Beach Club
The Stone Harbor Club Lounge is located on the fifth floor of the Beach Club Resort, just outside the elevators. Here’s a video from a previous visit (the overall layout is still the same, but some furnishings have been updated). The photos, except where noted, are from our most recent (August 2024) visit.
The Stone Harbor Club concierge desks sit outside the lounge and are staffed from 7AM to 10PM.
The lounge comprises two sitting areas and a serving area. The first sitting area has seating for around 30 people.
There’s a television, but while we were there it stayed on the resort television channel.
Heading over to the other sitting area, you’ll pass by the coffee / tea bar.
The other sitting area is adjacent to the serving area and has seating for about 20 adults and 5 children. This brings the total lounge seating capacity to about 50 adults and 5 children, among the larger Disney lounges. There’s also a television playing children’s programming.
The serving area is quite large, which can make the smaller servings look a bit sparse. Cold beverages and ice cream are available throughout the day.
Service at Beach Club’s Stone Harbor Club
For a lounge of such size, the Cast Members were impressively on top of keeping things tidy and clean. We always note this because it’s been a problem at several lounges, but Stone Harbor was a good one where staff didn’t let dirty dishes and discarded food sit around.
Everyone we interacted with was really friendly and happy to assist with anything we needed. We didn’t take much time to sit around and be waited on, so we can’t judge whether or not this was a particularly proactive service staff.
Beach Club Resort Club Level Servings, Food, and Beverage
The Stone Harbor Club has five servings:
6:30AM to 7:00AM - Coffee (Note: I didn’t confirm availability during last visit)
7:00AM to 10:30AM - Continental Breakfast
11:30AM to 4:00PM - Light Snacks
5:00PM to 7:00PM - Hors d’oeuvres & Select Beverages
8:00PM to 10:00PM - Desserts and Cordials
The Stone Harbor Club is serviced from 7:00AM to 10:00PM. During those hours, you can always request beer and wine. Included alcohol is what makes club level one of the better hotel options for adults visiting Disney World.
Photos are from a previous visit, but menus of course will vary from the examples you see below.
Continental Breakfast at the Stone Harbor Club
Breakfast was typical continental breakfast with meats, cheeses, oatmeal, and grits.
Light Snacks at the Stone Harbor Club
Light snacks were…light. Not the lightest we’ve seen, but on the lighter side of things.
Hors d’oeuvres and Select Beverages at the Stone Harbor Club
The early evening serving at Stone Harbor Club impressed, with soup and macaroni & cheese.
Desserts and Cordials at the Stone Harbor Club
Desserts impressed, with a wide selection, maybe the widest we’ve seen at the lounges.
Disney’s Beach Club - Stone Harbor Club - Conclusions
We didn’t find Stone Harbor Club to have standout food options (a distinction that we basically have only given to Kilimanjaro Club at Animal Kingdom Lodge recently), but the unfortunate post-2020 reality is that the Clubs provide good enough food, but rarely more, so this isn’t a knock against this specific lounge.
Our limited interactions with the Cast Members were very positive. The large size of the lounge is particularly nice. It can get crowded, but that’s less common and feels less “packed” than say, the Regatta Club or Innkeeper’s Club which are single rooms for about 35 people.
What we liked about Stone Harbor was basically that it wasn’t frustratingly bad in the way some Club Level experiences were. This is definitely a lounge where there’s little to be upset with if you understand what you’re getting from Disney Club Level. Our attitude is perhaps in keeping with our vibes of Beach Club Resort as a whole—it does it’s job well, but it doesn’t pull us back in.
The club does suffer from the same problem as the other two in the area though—its location is too good. With all the Boardwalk bars and restaurants and two parks nearby, Club Level might not be the best use of an extra $300 per night if you’re planning to stay at Beach Club. I’d take meals at Space 220 and Roundup Rodeo BBQ over any Disney Club level.
Of course, this is the same calculus that always varies if you’re a family of five (justifying $60 per person per night) or a couple of adults visiting Disney World (justifying $150 per person per night).
There are some Club Level experiences that are a step above—like Kilimanjaro Club at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Atrium Club at Contemporary Resort—but Stone Harbor Club at Beach Club is a fine Club Level experience that won’t disappoint.
